Waistband

The waistband padding begins about 5cm past one side of the body of the MT and reaches around to the other side of the body, thereby creating a soft, padded, reinforced waistband that takes some of the weight of the baby and makes for a very comfortable carry for you.  

Shoulder straps

The shoulder strap padding starts from the point where the strap meets the body of the MT and extends down the strap ensuring that the straps covering your chest, or going underneath your arm in a rucksack carry, are padded and very comfortable.

The straps are very generous in length, this is to ensure that they will fit everyone who buys one, and will also fit all people who want to carry your baby.  No need to buy different types of slings for mum or dad, grandads, childminders, aunties, uncles...!   

The straps are also designed to fit around your baby's back and under the legs for extra support and also to close up the side gaps when carrying a young baby.  

Headrest

Padded from the top of the headrest to just below the top of the shoulder straps, about 10cm from top to bottom

This headrest is designed to stay up when the straps are pulled up, this ensures that it will stay up when your baby is on your back.  If you want your baby to be able to see out, you can have the baby's arms out, or make sure he or she is high enough up the body so they can see above the headrest, as shown in the photo above.  It is very easy to fold down the headrest when your baby is on the front, and it will stay down in this position.
